Songkran festival, Thailand 2018

Some pictures from Songkran festival at my community. My community in Donmuang, Bangkok (where I’m living) has an activity. Giving food to the Buddhist monks, greeting elders, having lunch together. There’re a lot of elders here. Nice day!

“I continuously follow my father’s footprint…

“I continuously follow my father’s footprints

through the big forest, scary, dense

endless, dark and wide

there are big trees like powerful towers

Dad…

I’m so hungry and tired

please look…

blood flows from my injured feet

I’m scared of snakes, tigers and wolves

Dad…

Do we have a destination?”

“Little kid…

in this world, there is no place to be happy

and convenient for you

our paths are not covered with beautiful flowers

please go, even it is a thing that’s oppressing your heart

I saw the thorn hurting your soft feet

your blood is like a pomegranate on the grass near the pond

your tears flowed to the green shrubs

is like a emerald diamond that shows the full beauty

for humanity, do not leave the courage

when faced the suffering, be patient and discreet

and be happy to have a valuable ideology

please go…

if you want to follow my footsteps”

“The (Very) Last Lesson Of Love”

“I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone.”

(Lantern at Phetchaburi in 2011 during big flood in Thailand)

Love is one of the most precious thing we human are always searching for. Love gives humanity power and hope. As we grow up, we live with it and we learn many things from love.

Love teach us

  • To love others and to love ourself
  • To give and to take
  • To sacrifice, to be selfless
  • To understand the feelings of others and to express our feelings
  • To deal with disappointment
  • To forgive
  • To be united
  • To be patient
  • To share our world with others
  • To have a life companion

Love gives us lifetime lessons that can teach us so many things and make someone to be a nicer, stronger, wiser person or sometimes in the opposite way.

(Phetchaburi: Pee sua samut: name of a giant lady and Pra arpai manee: name of the man, characters in Thai literature, the story is about love of this couple, they broke up when the man knew that the lady is actually a giant and the can’t be together, the giant was greatly painful in this picture)

No matter the relationship between you and Love is good or not. You’ve gotten good or bad experiences and learned anything from it. It’s invaluable to fall in love, it’s a miracle to have a good marriage, to have a lifetime companion, walking hand in hand day by day till the last day of life, but…

“…. finally, the very last lesson of love is to detach from each other.”

Sadly, anything can’t last forever. At the end, everyone have to detach from every person and everything we love. We all have to let go of their hand. We all actually are the lonely traveler, meeting and departure are unavoidable. By the way, love still exists. All we can do is to do our best when we’re still able to. : )

Sunrise at Chaophraya River

I took this picture in October 2012, 6.23 AM at my apartment, when I was a university student at Thammasat.

At that time, my university life is quite struggling (haha), finishing my degree at the university was quite a difficult mission for me. By the way, yes, when I saw the sunrise, there’s still hope (a little, maybe). I got good feelings when the light was rising in the sky. I gained strength from the morning air. Please try wake up early and see this. I wish everyone hope and happiness!

See you again krub : )

People overcome suffering by perseverance, and be purified by wisdom.

Hi everyone! Today I want to share one of the most heart touching quote (for me) from the Buddha. That is :

People overcome suffering by perseverance,

and be purified by wisdom.

-Buddha

I think this is one of the best life guide ever. If we’ve perseverance, never give up with our life, just do our best and we’ll be happy in the end. And finally, a thing that actually purify a person is his wisdom. A wisdom to see things as they are and to lay it down, not to hold it. I wish everyone reading this will get some positiveness, be encouraged and happy! : )

I started my translator career!

I always want to be good at English to communicate with people around the world. So I continually improve my skill (although it’s so slow because I grew up/study/work in Thai environment). But now I think I have some ability to translate some content from English to Thai (or some basic Thai to English). So I started my career on Upwork to use my skill, improve it and get some income (haha). If you need someone to help you translating something, please see my profile. Hope to work with you! 😀

PS. This is a picture of Bangpu recreation center. I went there last new year. The text you see in this pic means “Happy Pavilion”.

walking lightly on the journey

It’s been more than a year since the last post. Can’t believe I did’t have anything to write. Life looks normal but sometimes it goes somewhere I didn’t expect.  Many things happened but I can’t grasp it tight. I see myself and many people are trying so hard to live.

The small thing I do change about myself is to be more offline. I once was a facebook addict,  now I almost disconnect myself from the social media. Sometimes it feels like sitting in silence, by the way, I’m getting used to it. I prefer solitude to chaos.

This month, I just went to Khao Yai national park. These are some pictures from the trip.

Have a nice day! 😀
